NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION (N.E.M.T.)

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) is transportation for individuals who need assistance traveling but are not in an emergency situation.

Many clients use our service for medical appointments such as doctor visits, dialysis, hospital discharges, rehabilitation, and physical therapy.

However, transportation is not limited to medical appointments. Many of our clients also schedule rides to visit family, attend events, go to the salon, church, or other personal outings.

Aldo Transport provides stretcher (gurney), wheelchair, and ambulatory transportation, with trained drivers who assist passengers safely from pickup to drop-off.

We recommend scheduling at least 24 hours in advance, but we will always do our best to accommodate same-day requests whenever possible.

Aldo Transport is approved to work with insurance providers; however, at this time we are primarily operating on a private-pay basis.

If your insurance plan offers transportation benefits, we recommend contacting your provider to see if reimbursement may be available.

Yes. Many of our clients schedule round-trip transportation so we can bring them to their appointment or destination and return them safely home afterward.

We provide three levels of transportation depending on the passenger’s needs:

✔ Ambulatory Transport – For passengers who can walk but may need assistance.

✔ Wheelchair Transport – For passengers who remain seated in their wheelchair.

✔ Stretcher / Gurney Transport – For passengers who must remain lying down during transport.

Yes. Our trained drivers assist passengers from inside the pickup location to the vehicle and safely to their destination.

Aldo Transport operates 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Transportation is available by appointment, and we do our best to accommodate early morning, evening, and last-minute requests whenever possible.

Yes. We regularly assist hospitals and families with safe discharge transportation when patients are ready to leave the hospital but cannot travel in a regular vehicle.an answer to this item.

A 15-minute grace period is included after the scheduled pickup time. If additional waiting time is required, a waiting time fee may apply.

To keep all scheduled rides on time, drivers may need to proceed to their next scheduled transport if delays extend beyond the waiting period.an answer to this item.

To keep our schedule running smoothly for all clients, we kindly request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations whenever possible.

If a trip is cancelled with less than 4 hours notice, a cancellation fee may apply.

If a driver has already been dispatched or has arrived at the pickup location, the full transportation fee may be charged.
